Special Features

From time to time, I like to spend a few posts focusing on one aspect of life or another. In this section, the reader can find easy access to my series, “The Strange Places I’ve Called Home,” “Atheist Me,” “Lessons from Nowhere,” and “A World Without Borders.”

  • “The Strange Places I’ve Called Home” is a series that I’m particularly proud of. In a way, it’s the story of my life. I’ve lived in Milwaukee, South Florida, Knoxville, Nagasaki, Seoul, and Munich. And they’re all strange in their own delightful little ways.
  • “Atheist Me” describes my journey from a doubting and skeptical Jew to life as an open unbeliever. It is my hope that by sharing my story I can help others who are dealing with their own struggles with faith (or lack thereof).
  • “Lessons from Nowhere” are several unrelated short stories from my travels off the beaten path.
  • “A World Without Borders is a series of posts about my take on globalization, and my hope and belief that we are moving toward a society of global citizens where we all can have freedom of movement.
