First and foremost, I would like to apologize to anyone who has received multiple e-mails from me in the last hour or so, I’m still working out some kinks with the new website.
I was planning on spending most of today writing, but sometime before noon I came down with another bug, or perhaps the same one as in the past. Korea is fun like that sometimes. I’m very proud of this new endeavor I have begun, I hope this will allow me to continue to share my thoughts with more and more people. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be thrilled to hear them.
Among other things, I’ve had several formating issues from transferring my previous entries to this one, and the site is routinely slow. Although there are certainly benefits from the move, there has been quite a steep learning curve from the user-friendly blogger, to the less user-friendly word press platform.
On the other hand, this site has already become much more interactive and integrated, most importantly with The Social Network Which Shall Not Be Named. Above all, I had pushed The Kingdom of Zachland to its limits, and I have much more room to grow here.
In other news, we are quickly approaching the end of the semester. This marks the “halfway point” of my first year in Korea, as well as the departure of many of my coworkers and students. I think I’ll have an official end of semester retrospective, but for now I think I’ll just be content with the quiet satisfaction of self-growth and stability.
